Which BU Career Office Should I Use?

Your career journey at BU is never a solo expedition. Whether you are drafting your first resume, preparing for a high-stakes interview, or weighing competing job offers, Boston University has an entire community of career professionals poised to help you unlock your career potential!  

Here at the Center for Career Development (CCD), we are proud to offer career development programs and services for all BU students and alumni, including: 

  • Career fairs
  • Resume and cover letter reviews
  • Career development workshops
  • Employer events and interviews
  • And more! 

In collaboration with the Newbury Center, our Professional Clothing Closet provides BU students with access to free professional attire for interviews, networking events, and internships. In addition, we offer access to a number of online career tools and platforms, including AI-powered VMock and Big Interview, as well as an array of career resources by identity and industry.  

For those with specific career-related concerns and questions, we offer one-on-one career advising appointments. This service is available to full and part time on-campus degree seeking students, as well as alumni.

We are proud to be the primary career center for students and alumni of the College and Graduate School of Arts and Sciences (CAS & CGS), College of Fine Arts (CFA), College of General Studies (CGS), Sargent College (SAR), Faculty of Computing & Data Sciences (CDS), Pardee School of Global Studies, School of Social Work (SSW), School of Theology (STH), and Wheelock College of Education and Human Development. 

For students and alumni of Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine (SOM & GMS), College of Communications (COM), College of Engineering (ENG), Graduate School of Dental Medicine (GSDM), Metropolitan College (MET), Questrom School of Business (QST), School of Hospitality Administration (SHA), School of Law (LAW), and School of Public Health (SPH), Boston University has specialized career teams that can provide an additional layer of support, including tailor-made career guidance and resources.
