CCD: Tell us about your experience. What were your responsibilities?
Yi: My responsibilities included helping with organizing internal training and large corporate meetings. I was in charge of sourcing venues, directing audio visual services, and many other related activities.
CCD: What were some of the benefits you experienced at your summer experience?
Yi: I was able to build some fantastic professional connections while I was at Santander. I discovered that the relationship I was able to build was mutual and beneficial; I was even offered a part-time internship during the school year, with the potential of a follow-up full time offer!
CCD: What advice would you give to another student about making the most of a summer experience?
Yi: I learned to always be proactive. Even if you have downtime at work, keep yourself busy by asking if anyone else around you needs help. This makes sure that you get the most out of your internship experience – both in what you learn and the kind of impression you make.
